Israeli activist attacked, unprovoked, by Israeli soldiers in Silwan
May 17, 2011

Pro-Palestinian Israeli activist Gil Gutglick was detained today by Israeli troops, after he and several other activists attempted to non-violently defend a tract of land in Silwan slated for settler annexation on Tuesday afternoon. Despite the act triggering no confrontation, Gutglick was attacked by Israeli troops and arrested. He was then transferred to Oz police station and moved to another, unknown station.
