The arrest of five Jerusalemites from Al-Sowaneh and old city of Jerusalem
The Israeli police forces arrested earlier this morning three Jerusalemites after raiding their homes in the neighbourhood of Al-Sowaneh east of the old city. Wadi Hilweh Information Center was informed that the three young men are: Amir Qadamani 18, Eyad Shalabi 21, and Mohammad Qadamani 22. Eyewitnesses said that Israeli forces who were wearing masks surrounded the houses and arrested them, and pointed their guns at the neighbours when they tried to find out the reason for the raid. It is noteworthy that the Israeli occupation released Eyad Shalabi last April, and he is under house arrest; he was lately allowed to go out to take his final exams in the university, but was prevented from taking one today. The forces also arrested two young men from Al-Wad Street and they are: Thaer Abu Sbeih and Aboud Abu Sbeih.
