The Magistrate court releases four young men from Al-Sowaneh and extends the arrest of three others
The Israeli Magistrate court released on Thursday four young men from Al-Sowaneh in Al-Tur on condition of paying a bail of 500 NIS and house arrest for four days. The men released are: Majdi Abu Ghazaleh 22, Natheer Ammouri 18, Majdi Abu Gharbieh 23, and Thaer Abu Lafi 24. Lawyer Mufeed Al-Hajj from the Prisoners’ Club and lawyer Tarek Barghouth from the Ministry of Prisoners defended the detainees. The Israeli forces had arrested Majdi Abu Ghazaleh and Natheer Ammouri last Sunday after raiding their homes, while Majdi Abu Gharbieh and Thaer Abu Lafi were arrested last Tuesday. The Magistrate court also extended the arrest of three young men from Al-Sowaneh until the 1st of July 2013, and they are: Eyad Omar Al-Shelby 22, Amir Qadamani 18, and Ahmad Alami 22. The police had arrested Al-Shelby and Qadamani 12 days ago and charged them with assaulting a settler, while Ahmad Alami was arrested from his home on Thursday early morning.
