The occupation ruins the wedding of “Hasan Yousef” family by arresting the bride’s brothers and father

The Israeli police arrested more than 15 young men from different area in Jerusalem especially Ras Al-Amoud, Nablus Street, Lions Gate and Shu’fat refugee camp. Prisoner’s club lawyer, Mufeed Al-Hajj, said that among the detainees were: 31-year old Mohammad Salim, Isam Hasan Yousef, Dia’ Hasan Yousef, Hasan Yousef, 17-year old Firas Karkoor, 16-year old Mohammad Karkoor, 18-year old Mohammad Samman and 25-year old Ma’moon Dweik. Hasan Yousef’s family explained in a phone call that the Israeli intelligence and Special Forces raided their home on Friday afternoon as they were preparing for their daughter’s wedding and arrested the bride’s brother, Isam, and one of her relatives, Mohammad Salim, and her father was detained until her other brother Dia’ comes back. The family added that the intelligence waited at the entrance of Bab Hutta neighbourhood for Dia’ and upon arrival along with his sister (the bride), he was arrested and his father was released.
