March 26, 2014

The police at Al-Qishleh center handed on Tuesday Al-Aqsa Mosque’s guard Fadi Othman Bakeer (35 years old) an order to isolate him from his work location for 10 days. Bakeer explained that the occupation police arrested him on Sunday night and released him after interrogating him for several hours on condition that he would come again on Tuesday for addition interrogation. He added that after he arrived and was interrogated, they handed him an order signed by the officer of Al-Qishleh police center and the Old City officer Avi Baytoun to isolate him from Al-Aqsa for 10 days until presenting his case to the chief of police in Jerusalem on charges of confronting a policeman when Moshe Feiglin, Knesset Deputy Speaker, broke into Al-Aqsa Mosque last Thursday. He pointed out that one policeman assaulted him during the Feiglin break-in and injured him with wounds and that he had filed a claim to the “Mahash” regarding the assault.
