Extending the arrest of five Jerusalemite lawyers

The Jerusalemites detainees and prisoner families committee said that the occupation forces are lately targeting the Jerusalemite lawyers and are accusing them including working in hostile organizations. The committee explained that the occupation forces arrested on Wednesday the Jerusalemite lawyer Amro Iskafi after they had sent him a letter to meet the Intelligence officers at Al-Maskobyeh interrogation center. Upon arrival at Al-Maskobyeh, he was informed that he is being arrest and was presented to the Magistrate court judge in Jerusalem who extended his arrest until next Monday; note that he is a resident of the neighbourhood of Qufor Aqab north of Jerusalem. In the same context, the Magistrate court extended the arrest of Nadim Ghrayeb, lawyer Mahmoud Abu Sneineh, lawyer Shireen Essawi and lawyer Amjad Safadi until next Monday; note that Midhat Essawi and his brother Shadi were also included in the extension order.
