The prison’s administration kicks out the families of Jerusalemite prisoners from Hamas and Islamic Jihad
June 22, 2014

The administration of Rimon prison kicked out on Sunday morning the families of Jerusalemite prisoners from the movements of Hamas and Islamic Jihad and prevented them from visiting their sons under the pretext of being punished because of their solidarity with the administrative prisoners undergoing the hunger strike. The prison’s office threatened to call the police and force the families to leave the prison’s courtyards; note that the administration did not officially inform the families that they cannot visit their sons, and the families never signed any documents that they were informed of this punishment as they have done before. Mr. Munir Zghayyar, official spokesman of the Jerusalemites detainees and prisoners families committee, accompanied the families and expressed his disappointment of the racist and hateful attitudes towards the prisoners’ families.
