Women drinking wine in Al-Aqsa courtyards…and the police arrest three female Marabouts
September 16, 2014

In a dangerous escalation and under coverage by the Israeli forces, members of the group of “Women for the Temple” were drinking wine (Alcohol) inside the courtyards of Al-Aqsa Mosque, and the Israeli police arrested three female Marabouts while they were exiting through Lions Gate. Firas Dibs from the public relation in the Islamic Awqaf Department said that a group of extremist settlers broke into Al-Aqsa Mosque and one of them started drinking wine and performed Jewish prayers without any regard for the sanctity of Al-Aqsa Mosque and the sanctity of drinking alcohol for Muslims. The guards of Al-Aqsa Mosque confronted the group and forced them to leave the courtyards of Al-Aqsa. Around noon time on Tuesday, a Jewish extremist tried to practice his religious ritual in Al-Aqsa courtyards but was also confronted. In a related matter, the Israeli police arrested three female Marabouts while they were exiting Al-Aqsa through Lions Gate (one of Al-Aqsa Gates); Ikhlas Ra’ood was the only one identified.
