Releasing three young men from Silwan
The Israeli prisons administration released on Sunday three prisoners from Silwan after completing their prison sentences. They are: Fouad Ahmad Al-Qaq, Ali Da’na and Shidad Al-A’war. Wadi Hilweh Information Center was informed that the administration of Megiddo prison release the 17-year old Shidad Al-A’war who is a resident of the neighborhood of Ein Al-Lozeh in Silwan after he completed his 18-month prison sentence. Al-A’war was sentenced last May and only days before he finished his prison sentence; he was sentenced again on another case for six months of actual imprisonment and a financial fine. The lawyer, Mohammad Mahmoud, appealed the decision and the appeal was accepted last week. The Israeli forces raided the house of Al-A’war before he was released in order to remove the Palestinian flags and to warn the family from celebrating their son’s release. The administration of Hadarim prison released the 18-year old Ali Da’na after spending two months in prison; note that he was arrested on 2/6/2014 from Al-Aqsa Mosque and was detained in Al-Maskobyeh and was then put under house arrest. Ali turned himself in on 11/8/2014 to serve his prison sentence. The administration of Ofek prison released the 18-year old Fouad Ahmad Al-Qaq; note that he was arrested when he was with Ali Da’na and was sentenced for the same duration.
