Sentencing two young men…extensions of arrest and releasing two women

The Magistrate court judge sentenced on Tuesday two young Jerusalemite men. Al-Dameer organization lawyer, Mohammad Mahmoud, said that the Magistrate court judge sentenced Amjad Ghrouf for 11 months of actual imprisonment and a suspended probation of 8 months for three years in addition to a fine of 6 thousand NIS; note that the prosecution asked to imprison him for 24 months. The judge also sentenced Yousef Askar for a 200-hour course, a fine of 2500 NIS and a suspended probation of 3 months for 3 years on charges of “threatening a policeman.” The judge also extended the arrest of the minor Saeed Eid and Thaer Assaileh and Odai Ouri until Wednesday, and released the minor Munir Maswadeh with a bail of 500 NIS and house arrest for 5 days in addition to a third-party bail of 2500 NIS. The lawyer added that the Israeli police released Ala’ Abu Hadwan and Sabah Abu Hadwan with a third-party bail and conditioned Ala’ to attend court on Wednesday.
