Extending the arrest of 11 Jerusalemites and releasing 7 others
The Magistrate court judge extended on Wednesday the arrest of 11 Jerusalemites and released 7 others. Al-Dameer organization lawyer, Mohammad Mahmoud, said that the Magistrate judge extended the arrest of the child Izz Eddin Abu Sbeih and the 50-year old Omar Abu Sara until Friday; note that Abu Sara was accused of “inciting” while giving a speech at Al-Aqsa Mosque. The lawyer added that the general prosecution submitted indictments against 8 Jerusalemite young men, they are: Mohammad Julani, Adham Abu Nijmeh, Mohammad Iskafi, Mutasem Tawil, Mahmoud Hadyeh, Hamzeh Shweiki, Mohammad Tawil and Hamzeh Tawil. The judge extended their arrest until 14/1/2015 and the indictments including charges of throwing “stones, firecrackers and Molotov Cocktails.” The judge also extended the arrest of Fadi Atyeh until Sunday and an indictment was submitted against him. Lawyer Mahmoud added that the Magistrate judge decided to release Ahmad Jaser Abulhawa and Mutasem Abulhawa on conditions of house arrest for 10 days and a bail of 2000 NIS; the judge also decided to release Mohammad Abulhawa. The Magistrate judge also released four children. They are: Ahmad Khaled Tawil (15) from Silwan, Mohammad As’ad Julani (15) from Silwan, Mohammad Saleh Gheith (15) from Silwan and Mohammad Abed Mahmoud (16) from the village of Jabal Al-Mukabber.
