Isolating a woman from Al-Aqsa for 60 days…extensions of arrest

Al-Dameer organization lawyer, Mohammad Mahmoud, said that the Magistrate judge extended on Wednesday the arrest of the 15-year old Naji Odeh and his 17-year old brother Mousa and the 21-year old Ziad Al-Qaq until Friday to interrogate them. He added that the judge also extended the arrest of Issa Sawi until next Sunday. A session was also held on Wednesday for Sheikh Omar Abu Sara and the judge extended the house-arrest imposed on him until completing the legal procedures against him. Lawyer Mahmoud explained that the prosecution submitted an indictment against Abu Sara that included charges of “incitement” during a speech at Al-Aqsa Mosque. Isolating a Jerusalemite from Al-Aqsa for 60 days Lawyer Ramzi Kateelat from “Lawyers for Jerusalem” said that the Magistrate court decided on Wednesday to isolate Souad Obeidyeh from Al-Aqsa Mosque for 60 days, taking the old bail of 1000 NIS and depositing a new one of the same amount in addition to signing a third-party bail of 5 thousand NIS. In a related matter, the Israeli police arrest the two female Marabouts Sameeha Shahin and Niveen Masri while they were exiting Al-Aqsa Mosque through Al-Silsileh Gate and took them to the police station near the gate; note that they were released afterwards.
