Sentencing the child Mohammad Zidani… arrests and extensions of arrest

The District court judge sentenced on Monday the 17-year old Mohammad Zidani for 16 months of actual imprisonment. Lawyer Mohammad Mahmoud from Al-Dameer organization explained that Zidani was sentenced for 16 months of actual imprisonment, a 2000-NIS fine and a suspended probation of 8 months for three years; note that he was arrested on 10/11/2014 and he is a high-school student. The lawyer added that the Magistrate judge extended the arrest of the 14-year old Ibrahim Jamil Gheith and the 16-year old Mohammad Basileh until Tuesday, and the lawyer Rami Alami until Thursday. The Magistrate judge also extended the arrest of Majd Karaki until 23/3/2015 and Jamal Da’na until 3/3/2015 while the District judge extended the arrest of Mahmoud Jamil Gheith until 10/3/2015. An indictment was submitted on Monday against Mohammad Abu Sneineh and a session was scheduled for him at the end of March; note that he not detained. Wadi Hilweh Information Center was also informed that the Magistrate judge released on Monday Mohammad Abu Hummos, member of follow-up committee in the village of Esawyeh, with a 2000-NIS bail and house arrest until Wednesday at his house in Wad Al-Joz. The police arrested on Monday three women as they exited Al-Aqsa Mosque.
