The Magistrate court judge sentenced on Wednesday a Jerusalemite young man and extended the arrest of 14 others. Prison Sentence… Al-Dameer organization lawyer, Mohammad Mahmoud, explained that the Magistrate judge sentenced Hamzeh Shweiki for 9 months, a fine of 1500 NIS and a suspended probation of 4 months for three years. Extensions of arrest… Lawyer Mahmoud added that the Magistrate judge extended the arrest of Mohammad Naser Abulhawa who was arrested on Tuesday until the beginning of March and Salem Abbasi until the beginning of March as well; note that they were interrogated in Al-Maskobyeh cells. He also extended the arrest of Akram Abulhawa and Mousa Abulhawa until 12/3/2015 to read the indictment submitted against them. The judge also extended the arrest of Mahmoud Hadyeh, Hamzeh Tawil and Mohammad Tawil from Al-Thori until 16/3/2015 and Tarek Kurd until completing the legal procedures against him, and Baker Mughrabi, Issa Abu Jom’a and Mohammad Tayseer Abu Sbitan until 23/3/2015; note that their trial is at the District Court. The occupation authorities arrested the freed Jerusalemite prisoner Issa Syaj Amjad Abu Asab, head of Jerusalemites detainees and prisoners families committee, explained that the Israeli authorities arrested on Wednesday morning the freed Jerusalemite prisoner Issa Riyad Mousa Syaj after he was called for interrogation at Al-Maskobyeh. Issa was released on 6/2/2015 after spending 16 months inside the occupation prisons because of his educational activities at Al-Aqsa Mosque. He is a resident of the neighborhood of Al-Thori in Silwan and is married and has three children.
