Sentencing a minor…extensions of arrest and releases

Al-Dameer organization lawyer, Mohammad Mahmoud, said that the Magistrate judge sentenced last Tuesday the minor Naeem Hadreh for 6 months of actual imprisonment and a suspended probation of 5 months for three years in addition to a 4800-NIS fine. The lawyer also explained that the Magistrate judge extended the arrest of Tarek Kurd until 28/6/2015, Ali Obeid and Nadim Mustafa until 20/9/2015, Mahdi Aton until 18/5/2015, Mohammad Hamad until 14/5/2015, Mahmoud Abulhawa until 30/4/2015 to submit an indictment against him. The prosecution submitted indictments against Amjad Salaymeh, Mahmoud Salaymeh, Mouath Salaymeh and Ahmad Salaymeh. The judge also decided to release Mohammad Abbasi and Baha’ Abbasi with a financial bail and house arrest for 7 days and only allowed him to go to school. The Magistrate judge also extended last Tuesday the arrest of Ali Atyeh, Ali Mahmoud, Mahmoud Mahmoud and Murad Shallodi until 4/5/2015; note that they’re all from the village of Esawyeh and were arrested on Tuesday. Lawyers Mohammad Mahmoud and Tarek Barghouth from the Ministry of Prisoners defended the detainees.
