Sentencing two Jerusalemites and extending the arrest of 10 others

The District judge sentenced on Wednesday two Jerusalemites for actual imprisonment and extended the arrest of others. Al-Dameer organization lawyer, Mohammad Mahmoud, explained that the District judge sentenced Jamal Da’na for 22 months of actual imprisonment and a suspended probation of 9 months for three years. The judge also sentenced the minor Mohammad Abu Saud for 15 months of actual imprisonment and a suspended probation of 6 months for two years. The lawyer added that the District judge extended the arrest of Mohammad Abu Ghannam, Ibrahim Abu Jom’a and Jamal Za’tari until 6/5/2015, Baker Mughrabi and Issa Abu Jom’a until 20/5/2015. Lawyer Mahmoud added that the Magistrate judge extended on Wednesday the arrest of Mohammad Eweisat and Ahmad Eweisat for 24 hours. The prosecution submitted an indictment against Ghaleb Shallodi to the District Court accusing him of “membership in Hamad Movement”. The judge also extended the arrest of Mohammad Risheq and Hasan Gheith in order to submit indictments against them. Mohammad Mustafa and Fadi Atyeh were presented to the Magistrate judge (witnesses hearing session) and a session was rescheduled for them on 16/6/2015. He Magistrate judge released on Wednesday Mohammad Kayed Mahmoud without any conditions.
