Sentencing a young man…arrests and extensions of arrests

The occupation police arrested last Wednesday Fatina Hussein while exiting Al-Aqsa Mosque through Al-Majles Gate. Al-Dameer organization lawyer, Mohammad Mahmoud, said that the occupation forces arrested the 17-year old Baker Aweis from the neighborhood of Ras Al-Amoud after raiding his house. Prison sentence Lawyer Mahmoud added that the judge sentenced last Tuesday Ahmad Da’na for 12 months of actual imprisonment and a suspended probation of 8 months for three years. Extensions of arrest The judge extended the arrest of Fadi Salah until 12/5/2015; note that Fadi is accused of running-over soldiers in Al-Tur and is currently being interrogated at Al-Maskobyeh cells. The Magistrate judge also extended the arrest of Anas Obeid and Mousa Obeid until 20/5/2015 which is when the so-called “conduct officer” will release his report, and also transferred Mohammad Ahmad Obeid to the “conduct officer”. The District court judge rejected the appeal submitted against extending the arrest of Walid Atyeh and Sha’ban Mahmoud. Releases In a related matter, the Magistrate judge released on Tuesday Amjad Dandis and Ahmad Maher on condition of house-arrest for 5 days, a 750-NIS bail and signing a third-party bail.
