Update: the occupation raids the houses of the Martyrs Ghassan Abu Jamal, Mutaz Hijazi and Mohammad Ja’abees
The occupation forces raided on Monday afternoon the house of the Martyr Ghassan Abu Jamal in the village of Jabal Al-Mukabber south of Jerusalem. Abu Jamal family explained to Wadi Hilweh Information Center that a large Israeli force including Special Forces personnel raided the Martyr’s house and took pictures of the house as well as the roads leading to it; they also took pictures of the family members. The family added that verbal altercations broke out between the occupation forces and the family’s young men during the raid. According to the family, the forces also took pictures of the neighboring houses and recorded the names of the neighbors without classifying the reason behind their actions. The family pointed out that the forces raided the surrounding of the house of the Martyr Odai Abu Jamal which was recently closed with reinforced concrete. Raiding the house of the Martyr Mutaz Hijazi In a related matter, the occupation forces raided the surrounding of the house of the Martyr Mutaz Hijazi in the neighborhood of Al-Thori in Silwan and took pictures from outside the house and also the roads leading to it; the Martyrs family was not home at the time of the raid. It is noteworthy that the Israeli Supreme recently decided to close the room of the Martyr Mutaz Hijazi inside his parent’s house. Raiding the house of the Martyr Mohammad Ja’abees The occupation forces also raided the house of the Martyr Mohammad Ja’abees in the village of Jabal Al-Mukabber. The Martyr’s family explained to Wadi Hilweh Information Center that the forces raided their house and took pictures from the inside and outside in addition to the neighboring houses and the roads leading to it. The family explained that their house is one the second floor in a building that consists of only two floors. The 20-year old Martyr Mohammad Nayef Ja’abees is from the village of Jabal Al-Mukabber. He passed away after he was shot with 47 bullets from close distance after colliding with an Egged bus in Street number 1 across from the neighborhood of Sheikh Jarrah. Despite the fact that Ja’abees was at work and had just had lunch with his supervisor and colleagues, the Israeli forces insist that he deliberately hit the Israeli bus with his bulldozer.
