The Judge at the District Court sentenced the youth Mohammad Al Joulani with actual imprisonment for 16 months (Possession of weapons and throwing stones). Al-Damir institution lawyer Mohammad Mahmoud stated that the Judge at the District Court sentenced his client Al Joulani with actual imprisonment for 12 months, however the prosecution submitted an appeal against the ruling and was approved by the court and decided to increase the duration of the sentence against him. The Judge at the District Court also ruled on Mahmoud Al Zaghal for actual imprisonment for two years and a fine of 4 thousand Shekels. The Judge at the District Court also condemned Ashraf Al Kaqasmi and charged him with a 4 month stay of execution for two years and a 1000 Shekel financial fine, and an 80 hour course. In a related context Al-Damir lawyer Mohammad Mahmoud stated athat the Judge at the District Court extended the detention of Atiya Iwisat until 22 – 07 – 2015. In addition the Judge at the district court assigned a session on 16 – 09 – 2015 for Mohammad Suleiman (code of conduct report). He also assigned a session (a witness hearing) for both young men Nadim Ubeid and Ala' Ubeid on 11 – 11 – 2015, and for Bassel Sider on 12 – 11 – 2015. The public prosecution submitted a statement from the prosecutor to provide an indictment against Imad Abu Isbeitan, his detention period was also extended until 20 – 07 – 2015 and in addition Firas Mahmoud's detention period was extended till the same date. A session was assigned on 09 – 09 – 2015 for Badawi Abu Assab. The District court Judge extended the detention period of Amjad Idrees on Friday until 20 – 07 -2015. In his turn, the lawyer at 'Wadi Hilweh Information Center' stated that the child Mohammad Samer Sarhan stood in front of the Judge at the District Court; the Police requested a house arrest for 15 days and a bail of 1000 Shekel, however the Judge refused their request, noting that the Police called in the child Sarhan last Thursday with charges of throwing stones on a parked settlers vehicle in the Town of Silwan.
