The occupation extends the arrest if four employees of the Islamic Awqaf Department and one young man from Silwan

The Israeli police extended on Tuesday night the arrest of one Jerusalemite young man and four employees of the Islamic Awqaf Department until Wednesday. Wadi Hilweh Information Center was informed that the Israeli police extended the arrest of Majdi Abbasi from Silwan until Wednesday; note that he was arrested from inside Al-Aqsa Mosque. Also, the police extended the arrest of Director of the Department of manuscripts Radwan Amro, Raed Zghayar, Husam Sider and Fadi Bakir while Firas Dibs, head of public relations at Al-Awqaf, was released on condition of house-arrest for two days. The police also released the guards Ahmad Abu Alya and Majd Abdeen on condition of attending an interrogation on Wednesday. The Israeli police had arrested Al-Awqaf employees and Majdi Abbasi after one settler raised the Israeli flag inside Al-Aqsa courtyards and attacked two of Al-Aqsa guards with a sharp tool.
