The occupation assaults Al-Aqsa Mosque’s guards and injures them with pepper gas

Three of Al-Aqsa guards were injured on Monday with burns and bruises after they were assaulted by the Israeli borders police near Lions Gate. Wadi Hilweh Information Center was informed that the Israeli borders police individuals assaulted Al-Aqsa guards and sprayed Mouayad Hashimeh, Ashraf Abu Rmeileh and Yehya Shihadeh with pepper gas while working near Lions Gate and injured them with severe burns and bruises; Shihadeh was transferred to the hospital for treatment while Hashimeh was arrested. The occupation police prevented the children of the summer camps from entering Al-Aqsa Mosque on Monday morning and detained them near Lions Gate amid chants of “God is Great” by the children. On the other hand, a group of settlers broke into Al-Aqsa Mosque protected by Israeli police.
