August 11, 2015

The occupation police arrested on Tuesday one woman and a child from Al-Aqsa Mosque’s gates while dozens of summer camps’ children and women were prevented from entering the Mosque. Wadi Hilweh Information Center was informed that the occupation police established on Tuesday morning iron barriers at Al-Aqsa gates and prevented the summer camps’ children from entering (nearly 300 children); note that the forces chased some of the children and pushed them putting them in a state of high fear. The occupation police also prevented some women from entering the Mosque and distributed on Tuesday morning a list of names for women banned from entering Al-Aqsa. A state of high tension occurred at Al-Aqsa gates especially at Lions’ Gate where the children were gathered and at Al-Silsileh Gate while settlers were leaving Al-Aqsa. The occupation police arrested Siham Odeh under the pretext of “biting an Israel female soldier”, and the 13-year old Mohamad Murad Bayya’ under the pretext of throwing eggs towards the occupation forces; they were both transferred to Al-Silsileh gate police station. On the other hand, Al-Aqsa guard Mouayad Hashimeh was injured on Monday night in his hand after he was assaulted by the Israeli borders police personnel while carrying out his duties at Al-Aqsa. It is noteworthy that the occupation forces arrested Hashimeh and severely beat him causing him fractures.
