Sentencing two young Jerusalemite men from Al-Tur
The District judge sentenced on Tuesday two young Jerusalemite men from the village of Al-Tur for actual imprisonment. Lawyer Mohammad Mahmoud explained that the District judge sentenced Baker Mughrabi for 5 and a half years of actual imprisonment, a 5-thousand NIS fine and a suspended probation of 12 months for three years. He also sentenced Issa Abu Jom’a for 4 and a half years of actual imprisonment and a suspended probation of 11 months for 3 years. Lawyer Mahmoud added that the two young men were accused of manufacturing explosive devices, throwing Molotov Cocktails and stones in addition to damaging the skunk water vehicle in the village of Al-Tur. He added that he will appeal the judge’s decision at the Israeli Supreme Court.
