For the second consecutive day, a series of arrests and isolations from Al-Aqsa Mosque
The occupation forces carried out a series of arrests in the Old City of Jerusalem after Friday midnight on the eve of the so-called “Destruction of the Temple”.
Ala’ Haddad, member of Jerusalemites detainees and prisoners families committee, explained that the Israeli forces along with Intelligence personnel raided houses in the Old City of Jerusalem and arrested several Jerusalemite youths. ‘
Haddad added that the forces arrested Murad Ashhab, Ala’ Fakhouri, Wisam Hijazi, Ala’ Jamjoom, Ahmad Abu Ghazaleh, Mohammad Abu Shousheh and Yousef Abu Shousheh. After detaining them at Al-Qishleh police center in the Old City of Jerusalem, they were handed isolation orders from Al-Aqsa Mosque for two weeks.
Haddad also added that the police handed Abu Ghazaleh an isolation order from Al-Aqsa for two days after he refused to sign the two-week isolation order.
On the other hand, Haddad said the Israeli forces arrested Yaser and Obada and Mohammad Najib from their house in the Old City of Jerusalem after they were assaulted by settlers. The police released Obada and Mohammad and extended the arrest of Yaser.
