Extending the arrest of the Jerusalemite journalist Mohammad Batroukh…releases…extensions of arrest
The judge sentenced Walid Rajabi for 10 months of actual imprisonment and a suspended probation of 7 months for three years on charges of incitement on Facebook, and extended the arrest of the Jerusalemite journalist Mohammad Batroukh until 21/3/2017; an indictment was submitted against him including charges of incitement on Facebook.
Extensions of arrest
Lawyer Mohammad Mahmoud said the Israeli judge extended the arrest of Naser Obeid until completing the legal procedures against him, and Salman Sbitan, Mohammad Rabay’a and Suleiman Mohammad Hadreh until 22/3/2017. He also extended the arrest of Bashar Shkeirat, Omar Rweidat, Hussein Shkeirat, Mohammad Shkeirat, Ri’as Shkeirat, Eyad Shkeirat and Mohammad Muhtaseb until 20/3/2017, Mohammad Dirbas until 24/4/2017, Amin Hamed until 24/5/2017 and Mohammad Abu Khdeir until 27/4/2017.
In the same context, the judge extended the arrest of the minors Islam Qaram until 5/4/2017, Musleh Shihadeh until 21/3/2017, Mohammad Dirbas until 1/5/2017, Baha’ Ajloni until 29/3/2017, Dia’ Kawasmi until 21/5/2017, Ahmad Shatat and Sami Naser and Mousa Dab’ee until 3/4/2017.
The judge decided to release Ahmad Mashahra, Mithqal Shkeirat, Khader Shkeirat, Sami Shkeirat, Mohammad Abu Tayeh, Ahmad Sbitani and Islam Shkeirat with a 500-NIS bail and a third-party bail for each.
He also released the minors Mo’men Mheisen and Ismaeel Mheisen with a third-party bail, house-arrest for 10 days and a 500-NIS bail for each while Mohammad Ashour was released with a 1000-NIS bail, house-arrest for 10 days and a third-party bail.
The judge reduced the releasing conditions of the minor Yaccoub Kawasmi by allowing him to go to school.
Also, the child Mahmoud Najib Al-A’war was released.
