They emptied some of the houses' contents before demolishing them under the pretext of building without a permit.

Mousa Abbasi, Islam's father, explained to Wadi Hilweh Information Center that the occupation authorities along with municipality employees raided the houses of his two sons around 04:30 a.m. and surrounded them before evacuating the residents and proceeding with the demolition operation.

Abbasi said the family of his son Islam consists of 8 individuals (6 children) while the family of Imam consists of 6 individuals (4 children).

He added that the two houses were built in 2014 and have an area of 160 square meters. The landowners in the area of Al-Sal'a have been attempting to license 70 Dunoms of their lands (70000 square meters) for construction but to no avail.
