The occupation authorities demolish two houses and a carwash in Silwan and Jabal Al-Mukabber
The occupation’s bulldozers demolished on Wednesday morning two houses and a carwash in the villages of Silwan and Jabal Al-Mukabber.
Wadi Hilweh Information Center was informed that the occupation forces raided the neighborhood of Bi’er Ayoub in Silwan and surrounded a carwash and a room that is nearly 3 square meters built from aluminum and bricks; they proceeded with the demolition process and swept the area around them.
The forces arrested Ziad Odeh after he was injured by a rubber bullet and was assaulted and severely beaten during the demolition operation.
The bulldozers also demolished a house owned by Saleh Shweiki where he lives with his wife.
Shweiki explained that he had self-demolished the house last February but was forced to stay in it along with his wife; he recently did some renovations. Shweiki said that his son was planning to move-in the house with his wife after their planned marriage next August.
Shweiki also said the house was 88 square meters and that municipality employees told him it was demolished due to the renovations he recently did.
The occupation’s bulldozers demolished the house of Mousa Obeidat in Al-Sal’a neighborhood in Jabal Al-Mukabber. Mousa said the bulldozers demolished his house without prior notice knowing that it was established in 2012. He recently did some construction and the municipality issued an administrative demolition order 5 months ago.
Obeidat added that his nephew Ahmad Obeidat and his wife and three children were living in the house but were forced to leave it after the demolition order was issued especially that the bulldozers usually raid the houses and demolish them without prior notice.
Obeidat added that the house was 200 square meters and consisted of 4 rooms and their facilities.
