Occupation authorities re-arrest a freed prisoner from Shu’fat Refugee Camp…and arresting 4 others from the village of Esawyeh
The occupation intelligence re-arrested prisoner Ma’moon Farhat immediately after being released from the occupation’s prisons, while the Israeli forces raided the village of Esawyeh and arrested 4 young men.
The lawyer of Prisoners Club, Mufeed Al-Hajj, explained that freed prisoner Ma’moon Farhat was re-arrested after being released from Negev desert prison after completing his 5-year prison sentence. He was transferred for interrogation at Al-Maskobyeh police center in West Jerusalem.
Lawyer Al-Hajj explained that the occupation authorities recently started adopting these procedures against prisoners to deprive their families and friends from the joy of welcoming the freed prisoners and celebrating their freedom, and an attempt to impose new conditions on their freedom that they had just retained after years of detention.
Farhat was accused of throwing Molotov Cocktails in Al-Aqsa Mosque after the occupation forces stormed the courtyards of Al-Aqsa resulting in the breakout of violent clashes.
On the other hand, the occupation forces raided the village of Esawyeh on Wednesday afternoon and removed and confiscated Palestinian flags and banners representing the different Palestinian parties from the roof of Al-Arba’een Mosque in the center of the village.
Mohammad Abu Hummos, member of follow-up committee in the village of Esawyeh, explained that the forces deliberately provoked young men by stopping them and checking their IDs as well as searching them.
He added that the forces arrested four young men, they are: Anas Dirbas, Mohammad Alayan, Mohammad Issa and Ala’ Issa.
