Prison sentences…extensions of arrest

 The occupation courts’ judges issued prison sentences against several Jerusalemites.

Wadi Hilweh Information Center explained that the sentences were as follows:

  • Mohammad Habash: Actual imprisonment for 6 months and one day and a 3-thousand NIS fine.
  • Yazan Obeid: Actual imprisonment for 8 months and a 4-thousand NIS fine.
  • Mohammad Abu Jalqa: Actual imprisonment for 8 months and a 4-thousand NIS fine.
  • Shadi Kleib: Actual imprisonment for 8 months and a 4-thousand NIS fine.
  • Tamer Mleihat: Actual imprisonment for 33 months.
  • Ahmad Tarwa: Actual imprisonment for 26 months.
  • Ahmad Salaymeh: Actual imprisonment for 100 days and a 3-thousand NIS fine in addition to NIS 300 as compensation to the settler.

The judges extended the arrest of Majd Dari until 4/5/2018, Saeed Suleiman until 9/7/2018, Yazan Farroukh until 24/6/2018 and Qusai Mattour until 31/5/2018.

The judge decided to release the youth Mohammad Marwan Obeid on condition of house-arrest and deportation from the village of Esawyeh for 10 days, a 3000-NIS bail, and a third-party bail while Ali Abu Ghannam was released with a 1000-NIS bail, house-arrest and deportation from the village of Al-Tur for one week.

In the same context, the judge released Suleiman Manasra on condition of house-arrest and deportation from the village of Esawyeh for one week.
