Occupation authorities demolish a house in Qalandia north of Jerusalem
On Wednesday morning, Israeli bulldozers demolished a house in the area of Qalandia, north of Jerusalem, without warning and under the pretext of building without a permit.
Wadi Hilweh Information Center explained that the Israeli occupation forces, municipal crews and bulldozers stormed the targeted area and surrounded a house and demolished it under the pretext of building without a permit.
The house belongs to Mughrabi family, where the family of Ramzi Shweiki lives, and has been established for five years
Hamza Mughrabi said that the Israeli occupation forces ordered the Shweiki family to leave their house leaving them without a shelter despite the cold weather, and did not care about the owner of the house who suffers from a disability. The municipal crews took some of the furniture out and executed the demolition on the rest.
He pointed out that he had been trying to license his house for years, and a building violation of NIS 35,000 was imposed on him.
The Jerusalem Municipal Court also ordered him to pay NIS 30,000 nearly twomonths ago, as “fees for demolishing the house."
