Arrests and assaults with beating and pepper gas…expulsion from al-Aqsa Mosque
On Tuesday night, the Israeli occupation forces arrested Abdullah Da'na from the village of Issawiya.
Mohammed Abu al-Hummos, a member of the follow-up committee in Issawiya, said that the Israeli forces arrested the boy while he was in the courtyard of his house.
He added that the Israeli occupation forces stormed the village and deployed in the square and perimeter of al-Arba’een Mosque and stormed the village's cemetery and stepped on several graves, in addition to deploying in Obeid neighborhood.
The forces also arrested Ahmed Alaa Swaidan, 20, from Silwan.
On Tuesday afternoon, the occupation forces severely beat Palestinian youths and sprayed them with pepper gas in al-Wad Street in the Old City of Jerusalem. They also destroyed the contents of several shops and arrested their owners.
Wadi Hilweh Information Center said that the Israeli occupation forces arrested: Moath Ajlouni, Murad Ajlouni, Ahmad Asfour, Saed Abu Sneineh, Mahmoud Abu Sneineh, Hazem Qassas and Aboud Abu Sneineh.
The center added that the detainees were wounded in the hands and in the face and suffered various bruises due to being assaulted by the occupation forces before and during the arrest.
Expulsion from al-Aqsa Mosque
The occupation police released Ihab Abu Ghazaleh, a guard at al-Aqsa Mosque, on condition of expulsion from the mosque until Thursday. He was arrested on Tuesday morning while filming police officers that stormed Bab al-Rahma chapel.
The Israeli intelligence also expelled Ramzi Abeesan from al-Aqsa for two weeks.He was arrested on the first day of al-Adha holiday during the storming of the mosque and attacking the worshipers.He suffered fractures in his leg and was released, but the intelligence summoned him for investigation on Monday and ordered him not to enter the Mosque.
