The occupation authorities demolish two houses in Silwan…arrests…conditional releases

On Wednesday, bulldozers of the Israeli municipality demolished two houses in Silwan, owned by Khalayleh family, on the pretext of building without a permit.

Zaid Khalayleh, the owner of one of the houses, explained that the occupation municipality bulldozers carried out the demolition of his house and his sister's family house before the court date, which was scheduled to be held at 10:00 a.m. on the same day as the inspector responsible refused to postpone the demolition.

Khalayleh added that the family built the two houses 6 months ago, where the area of ​​each house is 100 square meters.

On the other hand, the occupation authorities arrested the secretary of Fatah movement in Jerusalem Shadi Mattour, member of the movement Awad Salaymeh, the secretary of Fatah movement in Issawiya Yasser Darwish, and the deputy secretary of Al-Sowaneh, Wadi Al-Joz, and Sheikh Jarrah" Areen Za’aneen.

In the afternoon, the occupation forces arrested the minor Mahmoud Hadreh and Ali Qutteineh.

The center learned that the occupation authorities extended the arrest Mattour until Thursday, and released Salaymeh on condition of deportation from the Old City of Jerusalem for a period of 7 days. They also released Za’aneen and Darwish on condition of house-arrest for two days, and a ban on participation in any activity of Fatah movement.

The occupation forces stormed the house of the secretary of Fatah movement in Al-Tur, Suleiman Al-Sayyad, and arrested his brother since he was not home.
