Established for dozens of years…demolition orders for two buildings and a house in Silwan
On Tuesday, the occupation municipality placed demolition orders on two buildings and a house in the neighborhood of Ras Al-Amoud in Silwan.
Wadi Hilweh Information Center/ Silwan explained that the occupation municipality crews stormed Al-Madares area in Ras Al-Amoud, and placed demolition orders on several residential and commercial facilities.
Hussein Muhammad Abbasi told Wadi Hilweh Information Center that the municipality placed the demolition orders on his apartment building consisting of a commercial store, an apartment of about 75 square meters where 4 people live, and an apartment of about 40 meters where 7 people live.
Municipal crews also placed a demolition order on the two-storey building of Saeed Ali Abbasi, where 16 people live, and it has been in existence for nearly 60 years.
The crews also placed a demolition order on the house of the late Mahmoud Abbasi, where 6 people live, and which has an area of about 110 square meters.
Abbasi added that the municipality inspector placed the order, and informed them that the demolition will be carried out on the pretext of building without a license on a street, although all establishments have been in place for "25- 60 years," explaining that the street of their homes has a dead end.
