Israeli bulldozers demolish two residential rooms and a barracks in Jabal Al-Mukabber

The Israeli bulldozers demolished on Monday morning two residential rooms and a barracks used for sheep in the neighbourhood of Jabal Al-Mukabber under the pretext of building without a permit. Witnesses said that a large Israeli force raided the neighbourhood of Jabal Al-Mukabber and surrounded the “neighbourhood of Bashir-Shkeirat” and then a bulldozer arrived and started demolishing the two rooms and the barracks that belong to Bassam Shkeirat. Mohammad Shkeirat explained that the family was surprised when the area was surrounded by Israeli forces who later on demolished two rooms that are nearly 20 square meters and their facilities in addition to demolishing a barracks that is 80 square meters and its facilities; note that 75-year old Hajj Bassam Shkeirat and his family that consists of 3 members live in the two rooms. Shkeirat pointed out that the rooms and barracks were built 12 years ago and the family has been trying to obtain a building permit from the municipality.
