Settlers assault two young Jerusalemite men
On late Friday night, several settlers assaulted two young Jerusalemite men while passing through the settlement of “Pisgat Ze’ev” that is established on the lands of Beit Hanina north of Jerusalem. The two young men are: 18-year old Yazan Hani Ramadan and 18-year old Majd Zaki Ramadan. The young men’s uncle, Amjad Ramadan, said: “Yazan and Majd were at their grandfather’s house in Wadi Al-Joz and left around 11:00 p.m. and headed towards their homes in Beit Hanina. They went through Pisgat Ze’ev and upon arrival by the mall three cars transporting 15 settlers blocked their way and surrounded their car from the front and the back.” He added: “the settlers assaulted Yazan and Majd using wood batons for no reason, and when they got out of the car to try to defend themselves they were assaulted again and lost consciousness and were then transferred to Hadassah Ein Kerem in an ambulance.” He pointed out that the settlers verbally abused them and were saying “death for Arabs.” He also said that Yazan suffered broken ribs and both of them were injured with bruises.
