Update: Releasing Jawad Siam
The Magistrate court judge decided on Friday to release Jawad Siam, the director of Wadi Hilweh Information Center, Muntaser Siam, Yazan Siam and Mahmoud Gheith after imposing house arrest on them for five days to complete all evidence against them and paying a 500-NIS financial bail for each. Mohammad Mahmoud, Al-Dameer organization lawyer, said that the Magistrate court judge decided to release Jawad Siam and four other young men on condition of house arrest for five days and charged them with assaulting a settler in Silwan a month and a half ago on 25/09/2014. The forces arrested Jawad and four young men after raiding their homes on Friday early morning hours in Silwan and accused them of assaulting an Israeli settler.
