Twenty two bullets hit the body of the Martyr Mutaz

The director of Forensic Medicine Institute, Dr. Saber Al-Aloul, gave the family of the Martyr Mutaz Hijazi the medical report regarding the initial checks conducted on their son’s body in Abu Kbeir Institute before the body was handed to the family on Thursday night. Mohammad Mahmoud, Al-Dameer organization lawyer, explained that the report showed the main reason behind the death of Mutaz which is “severe bleeding due to several injuries in the chest, neck, limbs, lungs and heart” which was caused by bullets that hit the body. The report showed that the Martyr was shot with more than 2- bullets in different parts of his body where some of them went through the body. The injuries were as follows:

  • 4 bullets in the chest that hit the lungs and heart
  • 3 bullets in the neck
  • 2 bullets in the chin
  • 1 bullet in the shoulder
  • 1 bullet in the right thigh
  • 1 bullet in the right arm
  • 1 bullet in the pelvis
  • 4 bullets in the right leg
  • 4 bullets in the left leg
The bullets in the right and left arms caused deformities, laceration and fragmentation of bone and tissue and l to the volatilization of parts of his body. The lawyer pointed out that several kinds of bullets hit the body of the Martyr Hijazi.
