June 10, 2015

The occupation authorities decided on Wednesday morning to ban the Jerusalemite activist Mohammad Shalabi from travelling abroad for three months for security reasons. Shalabi explained that the police released him on Tuesday after interrogating him and before he left Al-Maskobyeh he was forced to bring-in his travel document through family or friends. He said: “After I brought the travel document, they detained it and released me on condition of attending another interrogation on Wednesday.” Shalabi added: “I was interrogated on Wednesday in “Room number 4” and I was informed of the decision made by the occupation’s judge to ban me from travelling through crossings, airports and ports for three months due to security reasons. I was not handed the order and they only gave me a paper saying they detained my travel document.” Shalabi explained that he asked the police for his travel document or even a copy of it so his children can travel to Jordan next month but they refused to give him one.
