Settlers assault a Jerusalemite child while being arrested…extensions of arrest

The 15-year old Mohammad Mustafa from the village of Esawyeh was injured with wounds in his head and several bruises after he was assaulted by settlers while being detained inside the prison. Al-Dameer organization lawyer, Mohammad Mahmoud, explained that his client (Mohammad Mustafa) was assaulted by two Jewish settlers while being detained in prison and was injured in his head. The lawyer pointed out that Mustafa has been detained since last week. Lawyer Mahmoud also added that the Magistrate judge decided to release his client on condition of house-arrest and isolation to the village of Sur Baher in addition to paying a third-party bail of 5 thousand NIS. In a related matter, lawyer Mahmoud added that the Magistrate judge extended the arrest of the 18-year old Ahmad Abdelrazeq until Tuesday, and Adham Mheisen from Esawyeh until 28/6/2015; note that they were both arrested on Sunday. The District judge extended the arrest of Ahmad Shroukh and Mohammad Abu Jom’a until completing the legal procedures against them. The public prosecution submitted a prosecutor’s permit to submit an indictment against Tawfiq Shweiki and Basel Shweiki and the judge extended their arrest until 25/6/2015. He also extended the arrest of Yousef Naser Abu Jom’a until 15/7/2015 for sentencing, and Mohammad Kamel Alayan and Mohammad Rabah Alayan until 24/6/2015.
