For the third day…Al-Aqsa under siege

For the third consecutive day, the occupation authorities closed Al-Aqsa Mosque and prevented men under the age of 40 from entering. Wadi Hilweh Information Center was informed that the occupation authorities continued its siege on Al-Aqsa Mosque and closed most of its gates except for Al-Silsileh, Hutta and Al-Majles and established iron barriers on them. They prevented men under the age of 40 and women listed on the “black list” from entering. People prevented protested near Al-Silsileh Gate amid heavy Israeli presence. On Wednesday, 37 extremists broke into Al-Aqsa Mosque and carried out a tour into its courtyards amid chants of “God is Great” by Muslims who were able to get in. It is noteworthy that the occupation forces have closed Al-Aqsa imposed its siege on it since Monday afternoon. Worshippers performed the Evening and Night Prayer on Monday at Al-Aqsa gates and performed all five prayers the next day at the gates; on Wednesday they also performed the Dawn Prayer at the gates. The police isolated the 19-year old Mohammad Ahmad Thiab and the 18-year old Khader Adoun from Jerusalem for 15 days; they are both from the 1948 lands.
