The occupation arrests 9 Jerusalemites…scattered clashes

Clashes broke out on Thursday night in the village of Esawyeh and the neighborhood of Bab Hutta in the Old City of Jerusalem, and the forces arrested 9 Jerusalemites from several neighborhoods in the city. Esawyeh Mohammad Abu Hummos, member of follow-up committee in the village of Esawyeh, explained that Special Forces squads raided the village and were deployed in the alleys and neighborhoods in a provocative way which led to the breakout of clashes. He added that the forces sprayed wastewater towards the residential houses and vehicles and in the streets and deliberately sprayed it in the neighborhood of Alayan in the village. Abu Hummos also pointed out that the Special Forces deliberately fired rubber bullets towards the windows of residential houses and when the windows are broken they spray them with wastewater; they also fired rubber bullets towards four vehicles. The forces arrested Amin Abdel Hay Dari and the 14-year old Ahmad Shallodi from the village of Esawyeh. Al-Sowaneh On the other hand, Wadi Hilweh Information Center explained that the forces arrested the 15-year old Majd Na’el Zada from inside his house in the neighborhood of Al-Sowaneh east of the walls of the Old City of Jerusalem under the pretext of throwing stones; note that he left the grocery store near his house and when he arrived home, the forces raided his house and arrested him. The forces also arrested the 13-year old Wasim Kabaja while walking in the main street of Al-Sowaneh. Al-Tur The forces arrested the 11-year old Abdel Hadi Abu Ghazaleh from inside his school, 17-year old Sami Abu Sara, 16-year old Ahmad Abu Ghannam from the village of Al-Tur.
