In pictures: Arresting a girl and four minors
The occupation authorities arrested on Tuesday night four Jerusalemite minors and one girl from the village of Al-Tur and neighborhood of Ras Al-Amoud-Silwan. Wadi Hilweh Information Center was informed that the occupation forces arrested the 15-year old Shurouq Mizi’ro from Shu’fat refugee camp. The forces also arrested the Mustafa Abdeen (14), Mahmoud Abulhawa (17) and Ibrahim Hadreh (16) from the village of Al-Tur after assaulting and severely beating them. Also, the child Omar Abu Madi from the neighborhood of Ras Al-Amoud in Silwan was arrested while barefoot. Clashes broke out in the Ras Al-Amoud on Tuesday night and two Jerusalemites were injured with live bullets; the forces also used rubber bullets during the clashes. In the neighborhood of Ein Al-Lozeh in Silwan, the occupation police established checkpoints and patrols in the streets and scattered clashes broke out after the random firing of sound grenades for no reason. The forces assaulted the child Ahmad Abu Khalaf and beat him. They also took his cell phone while walking in Ein Al-Lozeh Street. Busses and vehicles were also searched and IDs of passengers were checked; some were body searched. Joint crews including municipality employees and policemen raided the grocery store of Yousef Ghazzawi and arrested him. In the village of Al-Tur, the forces stormed into Mount of Olives Club and fired three tear-gas grenades near the inside door before withdrawing from the area; dozens of young men suffocated. One employee explained that the forces raided the halls of the Club and deliberately damaged the contents. They also checked the IDs of young men and fired tear-gas grenades.
