Esawyeh: Injuries with live bullets during clashes in the village
Violent clashes broke out in the village of Esawyeh after the occupation forces raided the village and randomly fired live bullets, rubber bullets, sound grenades and tear gas canisters. Mohammad Abu Hummos, member of follow-up committee in the village, explained that more than 100 soldiers (infantry squads) raided the village and were deployed in the neighborhoods and provoked the locals which led to the breakout in clashes in the area. Abu Hummos added that three young men were injured with live bullets including a paramedic. Several others were injured with rubber bullets while dozens of locals suffocated. Abu Hummos also pointed out that the forces raided the houses’ courtyards and were stationed inside them, and also ascended the roofs of some of them and fired grenades towards young men. The forces also deliberately fired grenades towards the residential houses putting children in a high state of fear. The forces raided some houses in the village and deliberately damaged the contents and terrified the children.
