Silwan: Municipality crews raid the apartment of Khalil Abbasi in Ein Al-Lozeh
Joint crews of occupation municipality and Israeli forces raided on Sunday the apartment of Khalil Abbasi in the neighborhood of Ein Al-Lozeh in Silwan.
Wadi Hilweh Information Center was informed that municipality crews raided the apartment of Khalil Abbasi which is still under-construction.
Abbasi family said: “Municipality crews and Israeli forces raided our apartment when we were not inside. When we arrived, verbal altercations broke out because of raiding the apartment without prior notice and without informing the family which lives in the same building.”
Abbasi family also explained that the municipality crews handed them a “permit to issue a demolition order against the establishment”; note that it is still under construction and is 50 square meters. The apartment is part of a residential building and the family started construction at the beginning of the current year.
