The occupation authorities demolish the “Mediterranean Sea Restaurant” in the village of Bet Safafa
The occupation municipality’s bulldozers demolished on Tuesday afternoon the “Mediterranean Sea Restaurant” in the village of Bet Safafa under the pretext of building without a permit.
Municipality crews along with Special Forces personnel raided on Tuesday afternoon the restaurant and emptied it out; it was then demolished without prior notice.
Emad Burqan, owner of the restaurant, explained that the building has been established for more than 20 years and is built from iron, bricks and glass; it has an area of 130 square meters. Burqan explained that 25 families live off the restaurant.
Burqan also pointed out that the municipality’s bulldozers demolished parts of the restaurant at the beginning of the year under the pretext of building without a permit.
