Injuries and arrests - Israeli occupation forces assault young men in the Old City of Jerusalem
On Saturday evening, several young men suffered injuries and burns after being assaulted by the Israeli occupation forces in Al-Wad Street in the Old City of Jerusalem.
Eyewitnesses reported that the Israeli occupation forces suddenly assaulted dozens of young men concurrently with the Evening “Call for Prayer” –time to break the fast- with pepper gas, pushing and beating.
The witnesses added that the forces deployed and besieged Al-Wad Street, attacked the young men, mostly residents of the Old City, and arrested two of them.
Wadi Hilweh Information Center learned that among the detainees was Ahmad Tarhouni, who was wounded in the face. He was arrested and taken to Al-Qishla police station in the Old City of Jerusalem.
