Followed him inside his home…A settler assaults a child in Silwan
On Thursday, a settler assaulted the 6-year-old boy, Samir Alaa Rweidi, while he was in front of his house in the Al-Ain area in Silwan.
Wadi Hilweh Information Center / Silwan stated that a settler assaulted the child Samir Rweidi when he was with his cousin, Mohammad, 8, while they were several meters away from the house.
Alaa Rweidi - Samir's father - explained that the settler pushed his child and hit him on the stomach and legs, then chased him and his cousin towards the house, verbally insulting them, and trying to assault them but was confronted by family members.
Rweidi added that his child was in a state of extreme fear, and was unable to move or speak. He called an ambulance for his son and he was transported to receive treatment. He also called the police to the scene.
Rweidi added that he had filed a complaint in the police station regarding the attack that took place, and explained to the investigator the details of the attack and showed him the medical reports.
On the other hand, the occupation forces were deployed in the streets and alleys of the village of Issawiya, and erected police checkpoints, and arrested: Musab Mheisen, Mohammad Abu Al-Hummus, and Mansour Nasser.
