Prisoner Nour Obeid…suffering from Covid-19 symptoms, and his family requests to conduct a test on him
Nasr Obeid - the father of the boy Nour al-Din - called for a Covid-19 test for his son, who is detained in the occupation prisons, as he suffers from symptoms of the virus.
Yesterday evening, the administration of Al-Maskobyeh Prison transferred the 17-year-old boy, Nour al-Din, to Ofik Prison, and he showed symptoms of the Corona virus.
Firas al-Jabrini, the lawyer for the Wadi Hilweh Information Center, explained that the arrested boy, Obeid, was transferred to Ofik prison after symptoms of the Corona virus appeared on him, and the officer informed him that he might be infected with the virus as a result of his contact with an infected prisoner, and an examination will be conducted for him.
Al-Jabrini added that the boy suffers from severe diarrhea, high temperatures and general fatigue.
Al-Jabrini explained that his client was arrested on 23/12/2020, and was beaten during the arrest, and his detention was extended several times. An indictment was presented against him yesterday in the District Court, and his detention was extended until the end of the legal procedures against him.
