Beit Hanina- The municipality forces the Al-Sa’ou family to self-demolish its house…and the danger of demolition threatens two other houses
The Al-Sa’ou family, late on Tuesday evening, self-demolished the house of the young man Mohammad Samir Al-Sa’ou, in the town of Beit Hanina, north of Jerusalem.
Samir Al-Sa’ou explained that the municipality issued the final demolition decision for the house of his son Mohammad, and refused to freeze or postpone the demolition decision, and gave the family until Tuesday to implement the decision, otherwise its mechanisms will do so.
Al-Sa’ou added that the house has been in existence for 10 years, and his son Mohammad and his family of four and his pregnant wife live in it.
He pointed out that the municipality imposed a construction fine on him in the amount of "35 thousand shekels".
The house of Samir Al-Sa’ou and his brother Ahmed, located in the same place, are also threatened with demolition, despite attempts to obtain a license for many years.
