Arrests and injuries…the martyrdom of the boy Khaled Za’anin
On Wednesday evening, the 14-year-old Jerusalemite boy, Khaled Samer Za’anin, was shot by the Israeli forces, under the pretext of carrying out a stabbing attack at the light rail station on “Street number 1" in the city of Jerusalem.
The Israeli forces fired at the boy Khaled at the light rail station, and recordings published on social media showed that the boy was not given first aid after being shot, as he was trying to move his body while he was bleeding and in pain, but the forces pointed their weapons at him, and he was left bleeding until his martyrdom, after which the forces searched the boy and stripped him of his clothes.
As the recordings showed, dozens of settlers gathered at the first moment when the bullets were fired at the boy, and filmed him, and in other recordings, the settlers clapped, danced and cheered for the boy's execution.
The forces, after carrying out the search and initial field tests, transferred the body of the martyr to the "Abu Kabir" Institute for the detention of the body.
Raid and arrest
The Wadi Hilweh Information Center - Jerusalem explained that the Israeli forces and intelligence broke into the house of the martyr Khaled Za'anin in Beit Hanina, north of Jerusalem, and took out those present except for his family members.
The forces closed the road leading to the house and prevented access to it, while the intelligence services conducted the field investigations with the members of the martyr's family.
The center added that the forces arrested Samer Za'anin - the father of the martyr -, Aya Za’anin - the mother of the martyr -, and his sister Yusra and his brother Mahmoud, and summoned his brother Nidal for investigation.
The center pointed out that the martyr has two twins; Mahmoud and Sadil".
Oppression and injuries
The Wadi Hilweh Information Center – Jerusalem explained that the forces targeted the martyr's house and its surroundings with gas bombs, after carrying out the arrests and searching the house.
The center added that the family members, young men and neighbors who were present suffered gas suffocation.
Settlers’ attack
After firing the bullets towards the boy on Street No. 1, the settlers attacked the passing cars, and also tried to attack the Palestinians, and cursed the Arabs and called for their death, and also insulted the Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him.
